Excellent hospitality from a family run business. First class food including veg and herbs home grown. Ideal as a base forsightseeing in the area I think it might be more helpful to explain how pricing of the various deals work on arrival and specifically the options to move from the fixed menu with the appropriate deduction. The layout of the bill summary was uneccessarily confusing and difficult to understand. Minor carps in the context of a very enjoyable break. Chris Keaney

We thoroughly enjoyed a 2-night break in a spacious, comfortable ground-floor room. The owners were most welcoming and we felt very much at home. First night we had the set menu in the restaurant which was excellent, everything freshly made and the trio of fish (cod, hake and wild salmon) was superb. Second night we enjoyed equally delicious food in the bar. Breakfasts were cooked to order and included fresh fruit, homemade bread, and fish of the day - a beautiful piece of fresh cod or hake. It was a real treat to stay there as a base for visiting the historic town of Youghal.
