Ahernes is well placed near the centre of town. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed a very comfortable stay in a large well furnished room. Tasting menu highly recommended - balanced and varied sensibly sized courses accompanied by several well-chosen wines.

We had a lovely welcome from the gentleman (not sure of his name) helped with our bags and shown our room. Would have liked another easy chair in the room as only one provided. A separate walk in shower would have been ideal but overall a lovely stay . Thank you.
