Only a very short stay but loved it all

Stayed in aherne's for the weekend and have not stopped talking about it since. Made feel very welcome for the entire weekend. Could not fault a single thing, even organised some good weather for us. Will definitely be regular visitors.

Very friendly, helpful and skilled staff delivered a top class service and a memorable tasting menu of fresh shellfish, fish and aged steak. Strongly recommended.

We loved our stay at Ahernes. The town is a hidden gem and the hotel is perfectly located to enjoy this historic town. The room was very large, clean and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was some of the best we had in Ireland. Gay and David the owners could not be nicer or more accomodating. In fact at the end of what I am sure was a very long day for them they sat with my husband and I for two hours over a drink an chatted. We will definitely be returning for a visit. My only comment for improvement would be to provide a mirror near one of the outlets to make it easier to use a blower dryer or curling iron.
