Aherne's is a total delight and its greatest strength is the staff, both the owners and the employees, who are all wonderfully helpful and friendly. A truly great introduction to Ireland. Andrew and Margaret

I would recommend Aherne's for a short break and hope to return. Food is excellent both in the Restaurant and in the Bar. Anne's Brown Bread is superb (I came home with the receipt) and her desserts are to die for.

Lovely people and very welcoming comfortable environment. Would have liked a softer pillow (but I am very picky about pillows!) but room and facilities otherwise were great. Thank you.

I stayed at Aherne's for a business trip. On arrival, I was made very welcome and was delighted with the cosy atmosphere. Light and spacious room. I ate in the bar and enjoyed the best steak I have eaten in a long time! Breakfast was as good as advertised. Very enjoyable stay although brief. Will definitely be returning!
