Marvellous food- great accommodation -go there

Hotel had mixed up our dates and thought we were arriving a day later. They had no rooms but had us stay at one of their 2 bedroom apartments overlooking the water. It turned out to be a grand stay. They were very apologetic and John as well as the rest of the staff did their best to make us feel welcome. They turned what could have been a terrible experience into one very memorable. We would certainly go back and give it a go the next time around.

The only disappiontment was the standard of dress code in the main restaurant.We were booked in for 8pm on Saturday night for a lovely meal a party of six or seven arrived with 2 people wearing track suits bottoms.To keep the restaurant up to a high standard this would need to be address. Thanks again for a lovely time.

Ahernes Townhouse Restaurant was one of the best Restaurants we ever stayed in,The owners absolutely fantastic people,down to earth friendly,The staff were excellent in every way possible,Both of us loved Seafood and we have never in our lives tasted fish like it,from the bottom of our hearths we were very lonely leaving,we had only booked for two nights but ended up staying a third night,,,,,,,,,overall from the minute we arrived to the time we left excellent and again owners and staff were so friendly........Jackie and Mark Sinnott
